Legacy Taylor Said

 Karen and Joel Mena of Can-A-Mex Farms ran a Thoroughbred rehabilitation and broodmare farm for decades and are two of my dearest friends. Joel was a celebrated  jockey, Karen one of the first women exercise riders of Thoroughbreds on the track. This is their phenomenal homebred colt, Taylor Said, flying down the finish line. Taylor Said is one of several babies from their cherished Fleet Amyanne that has done incredibly well on the track, and now this particular guy is 'retired' and hugely loved by a young equestrian in Tennessee as her hunter/jumper mount. Can-A-Mex raised happy TB babies, out in HUGE fields with the best of care and basic training setting them up for a long healthy life, where ever that may take them. I have been so proud to be their farrier, colt starter, and friend now to gift them with my first racehorse painting feels so wonderful to give back for all they had, have and continue to do and be for me....
